Esoteric – Understood only by a chosen few or an enlightened inner circle.
Well I don’t know if I’m very enlightened, but while on the hunt for new music, I came across Lo Recordings. Their tag line – providers of quality esoteric music since 1995. Does anyone remember David Byrne and Brian Eno –Ambient – Music for Airports? I’m sure I’ve mentioned this before. I am a bit fixated at times. I listened to nothing else in the 80’s. Check out their collaborative work –
But this site is great because you can listen to the whole track before buying it, unlike itunes.
Along with Lo recordings there is LOAF – Lo Alternative Frequencies and Loeb - Lo Experimental Beats. These are the coolest sounds around. And with that 24 hours of Music version I’m making for myself, these tunes are just perfect.
